Day 2: A letter to your crush

Hello my lovely cat people!

Since I do not happen to have a crush at this current moment (I know… a teen without a college crush? Weird…), this will be somewhat a short story. Let me know what you think!

I love you all~! ❤

MEOW! =^.^=

~~

Dear Eric Knight,

For the past few months that I have come to know you, a certain feeling has grown for you inside me. Now, before you throw away this letter in disgust and press charges, I shall attempt to explain to you what these feelings are and what I intend to do about them. Hopefully, you will be kind and understanding enough to read this letter until the end.

Ever since you helped me find my class at school and have helped me settle in to my new environment, as well as making me feel welcome, which is quite a hard thing to do for me; you have helped me to find the new me, the me that is not afraid of a challenge or the me who is not afraid of socialising with other human beings. It is because of you, Eric, that I have come to feel this way, so I thank you for this.

I attempt to write to you this letter as means of a, somewhat, romantic gesture. No one sends letters anymore, it is either an inbox through Facebook, or a simple text message, so I am hoping that a letter will take it back to the good old days when people who were really shy to ask in person, would send love letters to each other… But I will completely understand if following you to your locker and then trying to pile it on top of your books in an envelope with hearts on it can be seen as creepy. However, I sincerely do hope that our time together will stop you from seeing me as weird and strange. I have “followed” you around for a few weeks and I have noticed that you are very lonely. This is why I hope you find someone who will care about you… Someone like me.

I won’t be surprised if you haven’t made it to the end, as this letter is a pathetic love confession from a really shy and old-fashioned girl… But if you have…

Will you go on a date with me?

Sincerely yours,

Grace Morris.

P.S. I hope that you will be more brave than me and tell me in person. If I don’t get a reply, I will assume that this letter was thrown out…
