V is for Volts | A-Z Challenge

Hello my lovely cat people!

Volts are something that we store our valuables in. At least, that’s what most of us will think of when this word is mentioned. They are not safes, no, but a much bigger storage space usually in a bank somewhere. Today, I’m not going to talk about storing valuables in giant storage spaces, but I am rather going to use this as a metaphor.

We all have something that we store within ourselves and keep it hidden. We are afraid of what the world outside of this space will think of whatever you’re hiding in there. And sometimes, people even lock themselves in that space. And sometimes, people would store more and more pent up emotions or whatever else in this “volt”, thus causing damage to themselves and potentially others. So I’m here to tell you that it’s ok to open the door to your volt, no matter how hard it may be, and let out your stored possessions out for the world to see. Whether it is your amazing juggling skills, feelings of sadness, or anything else that you might be afraid to show, I’m encouraging you to do it more. I know it’s easier said than done for some people especially, but it really improves your self-confidence and the self-worth you have for yourselves. It’s all about having that trust in someone else and in yourself to let someone into your space and let them see your true selves.

So, open the heavy doors to your volts, unlock any locks that might be blocking the way, and that could open so many more doors for you and others, whom you choose to open that volt for.

Good luck and I love you all~! ❤

MEOW! =^.^=
